No matter what we may experience in life, we must remain aware that God is the Sovereign Lord of the entire universe, that He knows, sees and hears what we cannot, that He is knowledgeable even of that which might take place or occur of which we are unaware, and thus, we are to realize that it is God who causes every occurrence to happen, and according to a divine purpose: For our own good.
Putting faith in this truth should inspire us with a better outlook, by which we feel grateful for everything that befalls us. In other words, a person will try to recognize the "good" in everything, and thereby, achieve a proper understanding of the meaning of this life.
Making the right choice between those offered to him, expressed in the Quran as, "We guided him on the Way, whether he is thankful or unthankful"(surah al-Insan:3), man will, by God's Will, attain the supreme end-result, that is, the eternal life in paradise.
As muslims, we must believe that it is God Who ordains every event that takes place in our life from the moment we open our eyes to the world.
As stated in (surah al-Qamar:49), "indeed, all things We created with predestination."
What we must understand from the above verse is the concept of tawakkal. Believe in predestination does not mean that we give up life just like that; but it's mean that we must put our best effort on our jobs and whatever result that come out, we accept it with full of contentment.
REMEMBER!!
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Strange are the ways of a believer for there is good in every affair of his, for this is not the case with others except the believers. If he has an occasion to feel delight, he thanks (God), thus there is a good for him in it, and if he finds himself in difficulty and submits (and endures it patiently), there is a good for him in it." (narrated by Muslim)
* Thus, as muslims, we must keep in mind that there is good in whatever happens!! So, enjoy life Islamic way!! =)
